Samples
Added new FormsAPI samples that demonstrate the use of the toolkit with a variety of storage options. Each sample shows basic forms processing with various input/output architectures.
- FormsProcessingWithSqlDB - This sample uses SQL tables to read and write data when processing forms and illustrates the use of FormSuite with relational databases.
- FormsProcessingWithMongoDB - This sample uses MongoDB collections to read and write data when processing forms and illustrates the use of FormSuite with NoSQL databases.
- FormsProcessingWithS3 - This sample uses an Amazon Web Services S3 bucket to read and write data when processing forms and illustrates the usage of FormSuite with cloud services.
- SimpleFormsProcessing - This sample uses the file-system to read and write data to disk when processing forms.
Added new FormDirector samples that demonstrate reading and writing form templates to and from various storage locations. Each sample features specially designed classes that are tailored to their respective storage type. These classes are fully exposed and intended for you to use directly or customize to meet the needs of your own use case.
These include:
- FormSetConvertJSONMSEntity - SQL tables using MS Entity Framework.
- FormSetConvertJSONSqlDB - SQL tables using the standard SQL library.
- FormSetConvertJSONMongoDB - MongoDB collections.
- FormSetConvertJSONS3 - AWS S3 buckets.
- FormSetConvertJSONFile - Local file system.
FormAssist enhancements
Added several form creation enhancements to the FormAssist tool.
- Form fields can be reordered through simple drag and drop.
- Multiple form fields can easily be copied from one template to another.
- Form templates can be cloned to create new templates with similar fields.
- Keyboard shortcuts can be used for selecting tool type (OCR, OMR, ICR, Clip).
Installer
Minor updates were made to the installer to improve Windows menu navigation. To speed up installation, the Accusoft toolbox is now installed using VSIX package support.
Other
- Added support for Visual Studio 2015 and Visual Studio 2017.
- Added support for Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016.
- Removed support for Visual Studio 2012 and Visual Studio 2013.
